Why You Should Wear a Uniform

In this activity I was learning how to write an impromptu speech.
In this activity I had to: Have an introduction for my speech, have four reasons about my argument and have an end.
I found this activity really easy because I had already thought of my four reasons before I started writing it so I knew what to write.
I think I was successful on doing this activity because I did everything in the success criteria.
One thing I could do better next time is add more thoughts and feelings.

If I Won Lotto

I was learning about impromptu speeches. 

I found this activity challenging because I could add on so much, but I kept on adding on. 

One thing I did well in this activity was using language features such as: similes and adjectives. 

Overall I thought I done a pretty good job. 

Next time I could add a bit more humour.

Bias, Prejudice and Stereotypes

In this activity I had to find the meanings of bias, prejudice and stereotypes. Then we had to find examples from the book we were reading, The boy in the Dress, and to do with a character called Dennis.
I found this activity a bit tricky because it was hard to write the meanings of the three words, in my own words.
In this activity I learnt the meanings of bias, prejudice and stereotypes.

In this activity I was learning to reflect on what I have been learning. I found this work easy because I am good at reflecting on things. One thing I could do better is expand the number of strategies I know on this and other activities on Mathletics.

In this activity we paired up and we had to explain what a metaphor is.
I think I did well in this activity because I contributed lots of ideas to my partner.
I had lots of fun doing this activity because I like making slideshows.

I thought I did well on this activity because I did everything that was expected. Also because I reread all my work so it makes sense.

Roald Dahl The Witches Comparison

My Reflection
 In this activity I had to compare the one of the three main characters from Roald Dahl's novel The Witches, with their real life characters.
I was comparing Grandma with Winston Churchill.
 I think I did a good job on completing this activity because I did everything in the success criteria. Also because I reread my work to make sure it makes sense.
I had lots of fun doing this activity.
